About this product

Barricade® II Fire Blocking Gel Home Defense Kit provides an added layer of property protection when wildfire threatens. The concentrated, super-absorbent formula mixes with water to create a thick, water-holding gel that adheres to structures, landscaping and other vulnerable surfaces, helping keep them wet and protected from heat, flames and airborne embers.

Designed for residential and property-protection applications, Barricade II can be applied to areas such as siding, eaves, windows, doors, decks, fences, outbuildings, trees and shrubs before wildfire reaches the area. The gel can later be rehydrated with a light mist of water if it begins to dry and can be rinsed away with water once the danger has passed.

This complete Home Defense Kit includes four individual 1-gallon containers of Barricade II Fire Blocking Gel along with a 3/4-inch garden-hose applicator featuring a 3 GPM eductor and shutoff valve for convenient application. Barricade II is listed by the U.S. Forest Service as a qualified water enhancer for wildland fire management and is formulated without NPEs, petroleum distillates, phosphates or sodium ferrocyanide.
